Sexual misconduct, assault or harassment is never okay. If you or someone you know has been the target of such behaviour, remember that what happened was not your fault and what you do next is your choice.

 Think

  • If there is still immediate danger or if someone is seriously injured, contact the emergency services on 999 (or 112 from a mobile).
  • If an incident has just happened, try to find somewhere you feel safe.
  • Think about what is meant by the terms 'sexual misconduct', 'assault' and 'harassment', as defined by USW. The Unhealthy Relationships, Violence and Abuse page may also be helpful.
